A good price is not everything: a case study on heat shield panels with special storage requirements
The starting point: a large German kitchen furniture manufacturer wants to produce the heat shield panels under its hobs at a lower cost. But it quickly turns out that logistics is the real challenge — storing the different sizes in-house is simply uneconomical.
We therefore implemented a tailored logistics concept: the customer uses our central warehouse in Lübbecke. Week after week, we transport the panels pre-packed and ready for dispatch directly into production. Having the goods available on call in our warehouse can also save the schedule in an emergency.
